কুমিল্লায় ঢাকা-চট্টগ্রাম মহাসড়কের পাশে একটি আইরিশ হিল রেস্টুরেন্টের সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা তিনটি বাসে আগুন দিয়েছে দুর্বৃত্তরা। কোটবাড়ি বিশ্বরোড এলাকায় বুধবার রাত ৩টার দিকে এ ঘটনা ঘটে।
কুমিল্লা সদর দক্ষিণ থানার ওসি আলমগীর হোসেন ভূঁইয়া বলেন, ‘তিশা পরিবহনের কয়েকটি বাস মহাসড়কের আইরিশ হিল রেস্টুরেন্টের সামনে দাঁড়ানো ছিল। বুধবার রাত ৩টার দিকে খবর পাই বাসে আগুন দিয়েছে দুর্বৃত্তরা। আমরা দ্রুত ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনি। আগুনের ঘটনায় তিনটি বাস আংশিক ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে।’
তিনি আরও বলেন, ‘আমরা দুর্বৃত্তদের চিহ্নিত করার চেষ্টা করছি।
