রাণীশংকৈল (ঠাকুরগাঁও): জেলার রাণীশংকৈল উপজেলার রাউতনগর ভবানীডাঙ্গী এক কৃষকের চুরি যাওয়া হালের গরু উদ্ধার করেছে রানীশংকৈল থানা পুলিশ।
জানা যায়, গত রোববার (১৪ জানুয়ারি) দিবাগত রাতে বানু নামের এক কৃষকের গোয়াল ঘর থেকে দুটি গরু চুরি হয়। বাড়ির লোকজন সকালের দিকে গরু চুরি যাওয়ার বিষয়টি টের পায়। পরে তারা চুরি যাওয়া গরু বিভিন্ন জায়গায় খুঁজেতে থাকে।
এক পর্যায় জানতে পারে তাদের চুরি যাওয়া গরু রাণীশংকৈল উপজেলার মধ্য ভান্ডারার একটি ভুট্টা ক্ষেতে গরু বেধে রাখা হয়েছে বলে সন্ধান মেলে। পরে স্থানীয় লোকজন এবং পুলিশের সহায়তায় গরু গুলো ভূট্টা ক্ষেত থেকে উদ্ধার করা হয়।
পুলিশ জানায়, গত সোমবার (১৫ জানুয়ারি) উপজেলার মধ্যভান্ডারা গ্রামের ফসলের মাঠে একটি ভুট্টা ক্ষেতের মধ্যে গরু গুলো স্থানীয়রা দখতে পেয়ে সন্দেহ হলে পুলিশকে খবর দেয়।
রাণীশংকৈল উপজেলার রাউতনগর ভবানীডাঙ্গী গ্রামের কৃষক বানু বলেন আমি গরীব মানুষ, গরু পাওয়ায় আল্লাহর কাছে সুকুরিয়া আদায় করছি। তিনি বলেন ইদানিং গরু চুরি ঘটনা প্রতিনিয়ত ঘটছে। এটা বন্ধ করা প্রয়োজন।
রাণীশংকৈল উপজেলার লেহেম্বা ইউনিয়ন এক কৃষক বলেন গরু চুরি ঘটনা গুলো বন্ধ ছিল, কিন্তু ইদানিং কেন ঘটছে, কারা ঘটাছে এ গুলো প্রশাসনকে গুরুত্বসহকারে নিয়ে খতিয়ে দেখা প্রয়োজন।
এ সময় রানীশংকৈল থানার এস আই আশরাফুল ইসলাম সঙ্গীয় ফোর্স নিয়ে দুটি লাল রঙের গরু উদ্ধার করে থানায় নিয়ে আসে। গরু দুটির মধ্যে একটি বলদ ও বকনা বলে জানা যায়।
রাণীশংকৈল থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) সোহেল রানা বলেন, এ বিষয়ে ওই কৃষকের অভিযোগ অনুযায়ি প্রয়োজনিয় ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে।
