মুন্সিগঞ্জ প্রতিনিধিঃ জেলার সিরাজদিখান উপজেলায় মোটরসাইকেলের নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে এক যুবকের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন সিরাজদিখান থানার ওসি মো. মুজাহিদুল ইসলাম সুমন।
মঙ্গলবার (৩০ এপ্রিল) দুপুরে উপজেলার তালতলা-নিমতলা সড়কের মৃধাবাড়ি সংলগ্ন আরমহল এলাকায় এ দূর্ঘটনা ঘটে।
নিহত মো. মারুফ শেখ (১৮) উপজেলার ইছাপুরা ইউনিয়নের পূর্ব শিয়ালদি গ্রামের মো. ইউনুস শেখের ছেলে।
স্থানীয়রা জানান, মারুফ দুপুরে তার বাবার জন্য টিফিন ক্যারিয়ারে করে খাবার নিয়ে তালতলা বাজারে তাদের দোকানে যাচ্ছিলো। এমন সময় উপজেলার তালতলা-নিমতলা সড়কের মৃধাবাড়ি সংলগ্ন আরমহল এলাকায় বিকট শব্দ শুনে আশপাশের লোকজন এগিয়ে গিয়ে তার লাশ রাস্তায় পড়ে থাকতে দেখে। তার মাথার খুলি থেকে মগজ বেরিয়ে রাস্তায় ছিটকে পরে থাকতে দেখা গেলেও মোটরসাইকেল ও টিফিন বক্স অক্ষত অবস্থায় পরে থাকতে দেখেন।
এ ঘটনার পর ঘটনাস্থল পুলিশ পরিদর্শন করেন সিরাজদিখান থানার ওসি মো. মুজাহিদুল ইসলাম সুমন। তিনি জানান, খবর পেয়ে পুলিশ পাঠিয়েছি, আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা প্রক্রিয়াধিন।
