ঠাকুরগাঁও প্রতিনিধি: ঠাকুরগাঁও সদর উপজেলার দারাজগাঁও গ্রামে এক কিশোরীর ঝুলন্ত মরদেহ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ।
শুক্রবার (৭ জুন) দুপুরে বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেন ভূল্লী থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) দুলাল উদ্দীন।
মৃত বন্যা আক্তার (১৩) সদর উপজেলার দারাজগাঁও গ্রামের প্রসন্ন চন্দ্র বর্মনের মেয়ে। সে দেবীপুর ইউনিয়নের দারাজগাঁও বালিকা উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের ৮ম শ্রেনীর ছাত্রী।
পুলিশ জানায়, মেয়েটির বাবা-মা বৃহস্পতিবার (৬ জুন) সন্ধ্যার দিকে ফসলের মাঠে ধান আনতে যায়। পরে বাড়িতে এসে বসতঘরের দরজা জানালা বন্ধ দেখতে পেয়ে পরিবারের সদস্যদের জানালে দরজা ভেঙ্গে বন্যাকে বসত ঘরের বাঁশের আড়ার সাথে ঝুলন্ত অবস্থায় দেখতে পায়। তাদের ধারনা ফাঁসি নিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করেছে।
ভূল্লী থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) বলেন ওই কিশোরীর মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে ও ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য লাশ মর্গে পাঠানো হয়েছে। এবিষয়ে থানায় একটি অপমৃত্যুর মামলা হয়েছে।
