বৃহস্পতিবার (১২ ডিসেম্বর) খুলনা জেলা স্টেডিয়ামে অনুষ্ঠিত ফাইনাল খেলায় নড়াইল জেলা দলকে ৪ রানে পরাজিত করে খুলনা জেলা দল চ্যাম্পিয়ান হবার গৌরব অর্জন করে।
বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের ব্যবস্থাপনায় ও খুলনা জেলা ক্রীড়া সংস্থার সহযোগিতায় এ জাতীয় ক্রিকেট টুর্নামেন্ট পরিচালিত হয়। টসে জিতে নড়াইল জেলা দল বল করার সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়। খুলনা জেলা দল ৩৯.১ ওভারে সবকটি উইকেট হারিয়ে ১৪৮ রান সংগ্রহ করে।
দলের পক্ষে সর্ব্বোচ্চ ৩১ রান সংগ্রহ করে মোঃ শিমুল। জবাবে নড়াইল জেলা দল ৪৯.৩ ওভারে ১৪৪ রান সংগ্রহ করে। দলের পক্ষে সর্ব্বোচ্চ ৩৩ রান সংগ্রহ করে মেহেরব হাসান। বিজয়ী দলের মোঃ শিমুল ম্যাচসেরা নির্বাচিত হন।
ফাইনাল খেলায় প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে পুরস্কার বিতরন করেন খুলনার জেলা প্রশাসক ও খুলনা জেলা ক্রীড়া সংস্থার আহবায়ক মোহাম্মদ সাইফুল ইসলাম। জেলা ক্রীড়া কর্মকর্তা ও খুলনা জেলা ক্রীড়া সংস্থার সদস্য সচিব মোঃ বকতিয়ার রহমান গাজী এর সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠানে আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
