ঠাকুরগাঁও প্রতিনিধি : প্রতি বছরের ন্যায় এবারও দরিদ্র শীতার্ত মানুষের মাঝে বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনীর ৬৬ পদাতিক ডিভিশন ঠাকুরগাঁওয়ে শীতবস্ত্র বিতরণ ও সাধারণ জনগণের মাঝে বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা সহায়তা প্রদান করেছে।
রোববার (৫ ডিসেম্বর) বিকালে ৬৬ পদাতিক ডিভিশন ও রংপুর এরিয়ার সার্বিক তত্ত্বাবধানে ঠাকুরগাঁও সদর উপজেলার লক্ষীপুর সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় মাঠে এই শীতবস্ত্র ও বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা সহায়তা প্রদান করা হয়।
এতে উপস্থিত ছিলেন জিওসি ৬৬ পদাতিক ডিভিশন ও এরিয়া কমান্ডার রংপুর এরিয়া মেজর জেনারেল মোহাম্মদ কামরুল হাসান, এসজিপি, এসইউপি, এনডিসি, এইচডিএমসি, পিএসসি।
এছাড়াও শীতবস্ত্র বিতরণ এবং বিনামূল্যে ঔষুধপত্র বিতরণ কেন্দ্র পরিদর্শনকালীন সময়ে বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনীর উচ্চপদস্থ সামরিক ও বেসামরিক কর্মকর্তাগণ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
এ সময় জিওসি ৬৬ পদাতিক ডিভিশন ও এরিয়া কমান্ডার রংপুর এরিয়া ৬৬ পদাতিক ডিভিশনের অধীনস্থ ১০ ফিল্ড এ্যাম্বুলেন্স এর তত্ত্বাবধানে ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলার সদর উপজেলার লক্ষীপুর সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় মাঠ প্রাঙ্গণে সাধারণ জনসাধারণের মাঝে চিকিৎসা সেবা প্রদান এবং বিনামূল্যে ঔষধপত্র বিতরণ করা হয়।
বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনী দেশের এবং জনগণের কল্যাণে নানাবিধ জনসেবামূলক কর্মকান্ড পরিচালনা করে আসছে। এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় ৬৬ পদাতিক ডিভিশন কর্তৃক রংপুর অঞ্চলের বিভিন্ন স্থানে শীতবস্ত্র বিতরণ, মেডিকেল ক্যাম্পেইন ও বিনামূল্যে ঔষধপত্র বিতরণ এবং ভেটেনারী ক্যাম্পেইন পরিচালনা করে থাকে।
৬৬ পদাতিক ডিভিশন ও রংপুর এরিয়ার সার্বিক তত্ত্বাবধানে বাৎসরিক যৌথ প্রশিক্ষণ-২০২৪-২৫ বাৎসরিক যৌথ প্রশিক্ষণের বাকী দিনগুলোতেও এ ধরনের জনসেবামূলক কর্মকান্ড অব্যাহত রাখবে।
