খুলনা ব্যুরো: রাস্ট্রায়ত্ত্ব পাটকল সরকারী ব্যবস্থাপনায় ফলপ্রসু হয়নি কিন্তু হয়েছে পুঞ্জিভূত লোকসান বলে মন্তব্য করেছেন বাণিজ্য এবং বস্ত্র ও পাট মন্ত্রণালয়ের উপদেষ্টা শেখ বশির উদ্দিন।
সোমবার (১০ ফেব্রুয়ারী) দুপুরে খুলনার দৌলতপুর জিতমিল সফর কালে এ কথা বলেন।
উপদেষ্টা শেখ বশির উদ্দিন বলেন এ মিলের লীজ গ্রহীতা একদিকে পাটজাত পন্য অপরদিকে জুতা উৎপাদন চালু রেখে কর্মসংস্থান সৃস্টি করেছেন।
এ সময় খুলনা জেলা প্রশাসক মোহাম্মদ সাইফুল ইসলাম, বি জে এম সির জোলান কর্মকর্তা গোলাম রব্বানীসহ পাটকলের কর্মকর্তাগণ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
উপদেষ্টা বিকালে খুলনার লবণ চরায় টেক্সটাইল ইন্সটিটিউট এবং খুলনা টেক্সটাইল ভোকেশনাল ইন্সটিটিউট পরিদর্শন, ক্ষুদ্র ও কুটির শিল্প কর্পোরেশনের খুলনা আঞ্চলিক কার্যালয়ে বহুমুখী পাটপণ্য মেলা উদ্বোধন এবং খুলনা জেলা প্রশাসকের সম্মেলন কক্ষে টিসিবি’র ডিলার ও অংশীজনদের সাথে মতবিনিময় করেন।
