মো:সোহেল রানা: ঠাকুরগাঁও শহরের চৌরাস্তায় আওয়ামী লীগের বিরুদ্ধে মানববন্ধন ও প্রতিবাদ সমাবেশ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।
শনিবার (১০ মে) দুপুরে ‘জুলাই যোদ্ধা ও আহত-নিহত পরিবারের’ উদ্যোগে এ কর্মসূচি পালিত হয়।
বিভিন্ন ব্যানার ও ফেস্টুন হাতে নিয়ে অংশগ্রহণকারীরা আওয়ামী লীগকে ‘গণহত্যাকারী দল’ আখ্যা দিয়ে দলটি নিষিদ্ধের দাবি জানান।
বক্তারা বলেন, গত ১৭ বছরে আওয়ামী লীগ দেশের সাধারণ মানুষের কথা শুনেনি, বরং দমন-পীড়ন চালিয়ে এসেছে। তারা অভিযোগ করেন, ‘জুলাই আন্দোলনে’ ছাত্রদের উপর নির্বিচারে গুলি চালিয়ে গণহত্যা চালানো হয়েছে।
সমাবেশে জুলাই যোদ্ধা, নিহত-আহত পরিবারের সদস্যসহ স্থানীয় ব্যক্তিরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
