রাণীশংকৈল (ঠাকুরগাঁও) : ৪৫ তম জাতীয় বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি সপ্তাহ উপলক্ষ্যে ঠাকুরগাঁওয়ের রাণীশংকৈল উপজেলায় দিনব্যাপী বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি মেলা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।
বুধবার (২৪ জানুয়ারি) সকালে রানীশংকৈল কেন্দ্রীয় হাই স্কুল মাঠ প্রাঙ্গণে উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান শাহরিয়ার আজম মুন্না বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি মেলার উদ্বোধন করেন।
রাণীশংকৈল উপজেলা নির্বাহী (ইউএনও) কর্মকর্তা রকিবুল হাসানের সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উপজেলা আ.লীগের সভাপতি সইদুল হক, সাধারণ সম্পাদক তাজউদ্দিন আহমেদ, মহিলা ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান শেফালী বেগম,বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা হবিবুর রহমান, বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রধান ও সহকারী শিক্ষক, শিক্ষার্থী প্রমুখ।
মেলায় ১৭টি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষার্থীরা তাদের তৈরি প্রযুক্তি পণ্য প্রদর্শনী করেন। অংশগ্রহণকারীদের জুনিয়র ও সিনিয়র গ্রুপের মাঝে প্রকল্প ও বক্তৃতার ওপর পুরস্কার প্রদান করা হয়।
মাধ্যমিক পর্যায়ে ১ম স্থান অধিকার করেন রানীশংকৈল পাইলট উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়, ২য় স্থান অধিকার করেন নেকমরদ আলিমুদ্দিন সরকারি উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়, ৩য় স্থান অধিকার করেন রানীশংকৈল সরকারি বালিকা উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় ।
কলেজ পর্যায়ে প্রথম স্থান অধিকার করেন রানীশংকৈল ডিগ্রী কলেজ, দ্বিতীয় স্থান অধিকার করেন রানীশংকৈল মহিলা ডিগ্রী কলেজ, তৃতীয় স্থান অধিকার করেন গাজিরহাট ডিগ্রী কলেজ।
অনুষ্ঠানটি সঞ্চালনা করেন সহকারী কৃষি অফিসার সাদেকুল ইসলাম। বিকালে বিভিন্ন ইভেন্টে অংশ নেওয়া বিজয়ী শিক্ষার্থীদের মাঝে পুরস্কার প্রদান করা হয়।
রাণীশংকৈল উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান শাহরিয়ার আজম মুন্না বলেন বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি মেলার মধ্য দিয়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের মাঝে স্মার্ট বাংলাদেশ গঠনে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে। এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের মেধা বিকাশে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে।
