বিশ্বায়নের যুগের সঙ্গে তাল মিলিয়ে চলার ক্ষেত্রে জেলার বেকার-কর্মহীন তরুণ-যুব জনগোষ্ঠীকে দক্ষ করে তুলতে কাজ করছে ঠাকুরগাঁও আলফা ইসলামী লাইফ ইন্স্যুরেন্স লিমিটেড। এই লক্ষ্য নিয়ে তরুণ-যুব জনগোষ্ঠীকে প্রয়োজনীয় দক্ষতায় সুদক্ষ করে তোলার জন্য ও জাতীয় যুব দিবস উপলক্ষ্যে এবং দক্ষ যুব গড়বে দেশ, বৈষম্যহীন বাংলাদেশ’ স্লোগানকে সামনে রেখে শতাধিক কর্মহীন যুব-যুবতীকে নিয়ে ক্যারিয়ার কাউন্সেলিং এবং জব ফেয়ার সভা করেছেন প্রতিষ্ঠানটি।
শুক্রবার (১ নভেম্বর) সকাল ১০টায় উদ্যোগ এর আয়োজনে ও ঠাকুরগাঁও আলফা ইসলামী লাইফ ইন্স্যুরেন্স লিমিটেডের সহযোগিতায় এবং প্রতিষ্ঠনটির ব্রাঞ্চ ম্যানেজার মো: দারাজুল ইসলাম দুলালের দিক-নির্দেশনায় সভাটি অনুষ্ঠিত হয় আলফা ইসলামী লাইফ ইন্স্যুরেন্স কার্যালয়ে।
কর্মহীন তরুণ যুবদের চাকরি ও উদ্যোগ গ্রহণের ক্ষেত্রে শিক্ষিত ও প্রশিক্ষিত করে তুলতে আলফা ইসলামী লাইফ ইন্স্যুরেন্স লিমিটেড কাজ করে যাচ্ছে।
সভায় অতিথিরা বলেন, চাকুরীর পেছনে না ঘুরে সরকারী বিভিন্ন দপ্তরের প্রশিক্ষণ গ্রহণ করে উদ্যোক্তা হতে হবে। আত্মকর্মসংস্থান প্রশিক্ষণ গ্রহণ করলে নিজে নিজে কিছু করতে পারা যাবে। উদ্যোক্তা হতে হলে যে কোনো সহযোগীতা পেতে ঠাকুরগাঁও আলফা ইসলামী লাইফ ইন্স্যুরেন্স লিমিটেডে এসে পরামর্শ গ্রহণের অনুরোধ করেন তাঁরা।
অনুষ্ঠানে ঠাকুরগাঁও উদ্যোগের পরিচালক সাবুরা, আলফা ইসলামী লাইফ ইন্স্যুরেন্স লিমিটেডের ইউনিট ম্যানেজার আঞ্জুমান আরা কলি, ইউনিট ম্যানেজার চায়না আকতার সহ অন্যান্যরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
