মঙ্গলবার (২৯ অক্টোবর) বিকেলে জেলা শহরের টাংগন নদীর পারে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের স্মৃতিস্তম্ভ ‘অপরাজেয় ৭১’ বেদীমঞ্চে এক জমকালো আয়োজনের মধ্য দিয়ে এই প্রতিষ্ঠা বার্ষিকী পালন করা হয় ।
প্রতিষ্ঠাবার্ষিকীর উদ্বোধন করেন উত্তরবঙ্গের বিশিষ্ট লোকসংগীত শিল্পী টেপরি মাতাজী।
উদীচী ঠাকুরগাঁও জেলা শাখার সভাপতি সেতারা বেগমের সভাপতিত্বে বক্তব্য রাখেন সংগঠনের সাধারণ সম্পাদক রেজওয়ানুল হক রিজু, উদীচী সদস্য আবু মহিউদ্দীনসহ অনেকে।
জাতীয় ও দলীয় সংগীত পরিবেশনের মাধ্যমে শুরু হয়ে এই আয়োজনে সংগীত পরিবেশন করেন, টেপরি মাতাজী, সুচরিতা দেব নাথ, মীর সানু, শাহী বাউল গোষ্ঠী, উদীচী সংগীত দল ও আদিবাসী সাংস্কৃতিক গোষ্ঠী, কলেজপাড়া, ঠাকুরগাঁও।
মনমুগ্ধকর এই পরিবেশনা উপস্থিত দর্শকদের হৃদয় স্পর্শ করে।
