প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে পুরোদমে ক্লাস শুরু হচ্ছে আজ। অন্যান্য শ্রেণির পাশাপাশি প্রাক-প্রাথমিক স্তরের শ্রেণি কার্যক্রমও চলবে। একই সঙ্গে প্রাত্যহিক সমাবেশও (অ্যাসেম্বলি) চলবে। গতকাল সোমবার প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয় এ সিদ্ধান্তের কথা জানিয়েছে। এ বিষয়ে এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়েছে, ৭ মে থেকে সব সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় (প্রাক্-প্রাথমিক শ্রেণিসহ), শিশু কল্যাণ ট্রাস্টের প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় ও উপানুষ্ঠানিক শিক্ষা ব্যুরোর লার্নিং সেন্টারগুলোর শ্রেণি কার্যক্রমসহ সব কার্যক্রম ২০২৪ সালের শিক্ষাবর্ষের বর্ষপঞ্জি অনুযায়ী চলবে।
উল্লেখ, তীব্র তাপপ্রবাহের কারণে শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান কয়েক দিন বন্ধ ছিল। গত রোববার সব শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান খুললেও প্রাক্-প্রাথমিকের শ্রেণি কার্যক্রম বন্ধ ছিল। এখন প্রাক্-প্রাথমিকে শ্রেণি কার্যক্রম শুরু হচ্ছে।
তাপপ্রবাহের ছুটি শেষে রোববার খুলেছে দেশের সব মাধ্যমিক স্কুল, কলেজ, মাদরাসা ও কারিগরি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান। শনিবার শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়, পাঠদান চলবে ২৫ এপ্রিল প্রকাশিত প্রজ্ঞাপনের শর্ত পালন সাপেক্ষে। শর্তের মধ্যে ছিল তাপপ্রবাহ সহনীয় পর্যায়ে না আসা পর্যন্ত অ্যাসেম্বলি বন্ধ থাকবে। শ্রেণি কার্যক্রমের যে অংশটুকু শ্রেণিকক্ষের বাইরে পরিচালিত হয়ে থাকে এবং সূর্যের আলোর সংস্পর্শে আসতে হয়, সেসব কার্যক্রম সীমিত থাকবে। পরবর্তী নির্দেশ না দেওয়া পর্যন্ত শনিবারও শ্রেণি কার্যক্রম চলবে।
