ডেস্ক নিউজ, টাঙ্গন টাইমস : অন্তর্র্বতী সরকারের আইন, বিচার ও সংসদ বিষয়ক উপদেষ্টা অধ্যাপক ড. আসিফ নজরুল বলেছেন, ‘রাজনৈতিক দলগুলো আওয়ামী লীগের নিষিদ্ধকরণ চাইলে বা বিচারিক আদালত এ সম্পর্কে কোনো পর্যবেক্ষণ বা রায় আসলে অবশ্যই আইনানুগভাবে দ্রুত আওয়ামী লীগকে নিষিদ্ধ করা যাবে।’
উপদেষ্টা বৃহস্পতিবার (৯ মে) তার ভেরিফাইড ফেসবুকে বলেন, ‘আমার বিরুদ্ধে কিছু মানুষ জঘন্য মিথ্যাচার ও আক্রমণাত্মক বক্তব্য সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমে প্রচার করছে। আমি আপনাদের সুস্পষ্টভাবে জানাতে চাই খুনের মামলার আসামি সাবেক রাষ্ট্রপতি আবদুল হামিদের বিদেশ গমনে বাধা দেয়ার দায়িত্ব পুলিশ ও গোয়েন্দা এজেন্সিগুলোর। যা কোনোভাবেই আমার আইন মন্ত্রণালয়ের এখতিয়ারভুক্ত বিষয় নয়।’
তিনি বলেন, ‘আমার মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীনে আছেন নিম্ন আদালতের বিচারকরা। আপনারা নিশ্চয়ই জানেন, আদালতের বিচারকদের দায়িত্ব বিমানবন্দর পাহারা দেয়া না বা কারো চলাচলে বাধা দেয়া না।’
ড. আসিফ নজরুল বলেন, ‘আওয়ামী লীগ নিষিদ্ধকরণের সুযোগ রাখার লক্ষ্যে আইসিটি আইনে সংগঠনকে নিষিদ্ধ করার বিধান আইন মন্ত্রণালয়ের খসড়ায় ছিল। আইন উপদেষ্টা হিসেবে আমি নিজে এটা উপদেষ্টা পরিষদের সভায় উত্থাপন করেছি। আমার উত্থাপিত খসড়ার আমিই বিরোধিতা করবো এটা কিভাবে সম্ভব? উপদেষ্টা পরিষদের সভায় কোন উপদেষ্টা কি ভূমিকা রেখেছেন এনিয়ে আমাকে, ছাত্র উপদেষ্টাদের বা অন্য কাউকে দোষারোপ করা থেকে বিরত থাকুন।’
তিনি বলেন, সেখানে যা সিদ্ধান্ত হয় তার দায় দায়িত্ব আমাদের প্রতিটি উপদেষ্টার। আমাদের মধ্যে আওয়ামী লীগের বিষয়ে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের প্রশ্নে কোনো দ্বিমত নেই। তবে পদ্ধতি নিয়ে সবার নিজস্ব মত থাকতেই পারে।
তিনি বলেন, ‘আমাদের এটা মনে রাখা প্রয়োজন যে, আইসিটি আইন চাইলেই আমরা কয়েকদিনের মধ্যে সংশোধন করতে পারবো। আওয়ামী লীগকে নিষিদ্ধ করার জন্য সন্ত্রাস দমন আইনসহ অন্য আইনগুলোও আছে। কাজেই আইন কোনো সমস্যা না।’
আইন উপদেষ্টা বলেন, ‘রাজনৈতিক দলগুলো আওয়ামী লীগের নিষিদ্ধকরণ চাইলে বা বিচারিক আদালত এ সম্পর্কে কোনো পর্যবেক্ষণ বা রায় আসলে অবশ্যই আইনানুগভাবে দ্রুত আওয়ামী লীগকে নিষিদ্ধ করা যাবে। আমরা সেই প্রত্যাশায় আছি। ইনশাল্লাহ।’
