হরিপুর (ঠাকুরগাঁও) প্রতিনিধি : জেলার হরিপুর উপজেলার বুজরুক বালুর চর নামক স্থান থেকে মাদকদ্রব্যসহ ৩ ব্যবসায়িকে আটক করে বিজিবি।
সোমবার (২ডিসেম্বর) ৫০ বিজিবির অধীনস্থ বুজরুক বিওপির টহলদল তাদের দায়িত্বপুর্ন এলাকায় উল্লেখিত ৩ জনকে মাদকদ্রব্য ও ২টি মটরসইকেলসহ আটক করে বলে জানা যায়।
আটককৃতরা হলেন হরিপুর উপজেলার চৌরাঙ্গী বাজারের আমানুল্লাহর ছেলে মো: হোসেন আলী (৪২), একই উপজেলার বীরগর গ্রামের মো: সাইফুদ্দিনের ছেলে মো: এনামুল (৪০) ও একই উপজেলার পাহাড়গাঁও গ্রামের মো: জেনারুলের ছেলে মো: মনসুর আলী (৩৫)।
ঠাকুরগাঁও ব্যাটালিয়ন (৫০ বিজিবি) এক প্রেস বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে জানানো হয়, ওই দিন দুপুরে বুজরুক বিওপির টহলদল দায়িত্বপুর্ন এলাকার সীমান্ত মেইন পিলার ৩৬২ হতে আনুমানিক ২ কিলোমিটার বাংলাদেশের অভ্যন্তরে হরিপুর উপজেলার বুজরুক বালুর চর নামক স্থানে মাদকবিরোধী অভিযান পরিচালনা করে।
এ সময় ৭০ বোতল ফেনসিডিল ও ২টি মোটরসাইকেলসহ ৩ জনকে আটক করে।
পরবর্তিতে আটককৃতদের মাদকদ্রব্য ও মটরসাইকেলসহ হরিপুর থানায় হস্তান্তর করা হয়।
