রাজশাহী প্রতিনিধি:প্রচন্ড তাপদাহে রাজশাহীর জনজীবন অতিষ্ঠ হয়ে উঠেছে ।দেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলের মতো রাজশাহী এবং চুয়াডাঙ্গা জেলায় তীব্র তাপপ্রবাহ বয়ে যাচ্ছে। দেশের অন্যান্য অংশেও মৃদু থেকে মাঝারি ধরনের তাপপ্রবাহ অব্যাহত রয়েছে। এই পরিস্থিতিতে আবহাওয়া অধিদপ্তর নতুন পূর্বাভাস দিয়েছে।
শনিবার (১০ মে) সকাল ৯টা থেকে পরবর্তী ২৪ ঘণ্টার পূর্বাভাসে জানানো হয়, সারা দেশে অস্থায়ীভাবে আংশিক মেঘলা আকাশসহ আবহাওয়া প্রধানত শুষ্ক থাকতে পারে। দিন ও রাতের তাপমাত্রা প্রায় অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে।
রাজশাহী ও চুয়াডাঙ্গার ওপর দিয়ে তীব্র তাপপ্রবাহ বয়ে যাচ্ছে। এ ছাড়া ঢাকা, ময়মনসিংহ, চট্টগ্রাম ও বরিশাল বিভাগসহ রাজশাহী ও খুলনা বিভাগের অবশিষ্টাংশ এবং রংপুর, দিনাজপুর, কুড়িগ্রাম ও মৌলভীবাজার জেলায় মৃদু থেকে মাঝারি তাপপ্রবাহ বিরাজ করছে, যা আরও কয়েকদিন অব্যাহত থাকতে পারে।
রোববারের পূর্বাভাস অনুযায়ী, রংপুর, রাজশাহী, ঢাকা, ময়মনসিংহ ও সিলেট বিভাগের কিছু জায়গায় অস্থায়ীভাবে দমকা হাওয়াসহ বৃষ্টি বা বজ্রবৃষ্টি হতে পারে। তবে বাকি এলাকায় আবহাওয়া শুষ্কই থাকবে। রাতের তাপমাত্রা সামান্য বাড়তে পারে।
সোমবার থেকে বৃষ্টির সম্ভাবনা কিছুটা বাড়বে। ময়মনসিংহ ও সিলেট বিভাগের কিছু কিছু জায়গায় এবং অন্যান্য বিভাগগুলোর দু-এক জায়গায় দমকা হাওয়াসহ বৃষ্টি বা বজ্রবৃষ্টি হতে পারে। এ সময় দিনের তাপমাত্রা ১-৩ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস এবং রাতের তাপমাত্রা ১-২ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস কমতে পারে। ফলে তাপপ্রবাহ কিছুটা প্রশমিত হতে পারে।
মঙ্গলবার এবং বুধবারও একই ধারা অব্যাহত থাকবে। দেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলে অস্থায়ীভাবে দমকা হাওয়াসহ বৃষ্টি অথবা বজ্রবৃষ্টির সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। তবে আবহাওয়া বেশিরভাগ এলাকায় শুষ্কই থাকবে। সপ্তাহের মাঝামাঝি থেকে দিনের তাপমাত্রা সামান্য হ্রাস পেতে পারে এবং রাতের তাপমাত্রা অপরিবর্তিত থাকতে পারে বা কিছুটা কমতে পারে। এ সপ্তাহের শেষের দিকে বৃষ্টির সম্ভবনা আছে ।
